Our occupational specialists might be an excellent source for these comments. If they are going to consider reasonable accommodations, then shouldn’t they also consider obvious bias from employers in the form of not hiring folks with disabilities and people over age 50? If they want a real world view, then they need to consider both ends of the spectrum. If they just want to make it harder for people to qualify, there are other legitimate ways to increase the threshold for allowance.
